The French verb "faire" has various meanings... in sports, it can also mean "to practice"
You can faire de l'aérobic (1)
or jouer au basket (2) or au volley (3)
You can faire du jogging (4), du vélo (5) or jouer au baseball (6)
you can faire du ski (7) or de la randonnée (8)
you can also jouer aux échecs (9), faire de la planche à voile(10)
or jouer au football (11).
