I find the interpretation to be quite accurate. The oceans cover nearly 75% of the planet. They are vast, deep, perilous, and full of mystery, yet their beauty is overwhelming. It’s common for people to experience the same mixed feelings as the protagonist in his maritime journey. Sometimes there’s excitement in trying unfamiliar things, but there's also apprehension about potential disaster. Like anyone else, the Seafarer must ponder the risks involved when he embarks on his journey across the sea.

I don't believe that individuals have a fear of human existence in the same way one might fear the ocean. Although some find human existence intriguing, I don't know anyone who is afraid of it. A more fitting analogy could be snakes: many find them interesting, but they can evoke fear when encountered in close proximity.

Select ALL the correct text in the passage.
Flura [7041]

Answer: Two lines that strongly support this argument are - "knot's untied that made us one" and "God grant to yours and you".

Explanation:

The central theme of Anne Bradstreet's poem " Before the Birth of One of Her Children" revolves around the inevitability of death, urging individuals to make the most of their precious time on Earth.

At the period when the poem was penned, religion held great significance. For the settlers, Christianity was seen as superior to other faiths. Consequently, it is unsurprising that colonial literature frequently contains religious allusions, which are also present in Bradstreet's poetry, where references to God are commonplace.

Select the correct answer.
Lady bird [7499]

The sentence from the text that supports the thesis, "The writings illustrate a vivid image indicating that daily life in ancient Egypt is unexpectedly charming and uncomplicated" is, "They uncovered tens of thousands of scrolls containing details about daily life."

Response: Option D.

Clarification:

The thesis statement encapsulates the primary idea of the passage. It asserts how the writings portray daily life in ancient Egypt. The sentence, "They uncovered tens of thousands of scrolls containing details about daily life," aligns with this thesis. The other options, which pertain to tomb construction, romantic tales, and worker strikes, do not substantiate the thesis statement.

seraphim [7410]
Ovid builds tension in "Pyramus and Thisbe" by delaying Pyramus's realization of his beloved's false fate. This is achieved through numerous sentences hinting at the unfolding tragedy, ultimately leading to Pyramus's demise. Further suspense arises as Thisbe seeks her near-fatal love, facing potential doom in her quest for love.
