Basketball is an intense and physical sport, something I am familiar with after playing seven years. To reduce injuries, especially since we frequently fall and engage in tough defense, adding more protective gear for our legs and possibly arms would help. Although some players currently wear knee pads, making this gear mandatory would be a safer choice.
