Understanding your audience is crucial when composing any essay; in the case of an argumentative piece, reader perspectives guide the arguments emphasized by the writer. The viewpoints of the audience do not influence the selection of simple vocabulary. An argumentative essay does not serve to provide guidance. The greater the controversy within the essay, the more captivating it becomes.
