Answer:

I selected Workers' right to organize into unions:

Introduction: Eugene Debs should become President because he advocates for equal treatment for everyone and possesses the insight needed to advance toward that aim. He supports women's suffrage and their voting rights, seeks to limit child labor, and protect children. Additionally, he champions workers' rights, including their ability to join a union.

Body: As a socialist, Eugene Debs will advocate for your needs. Corporations have become increasingly greedy, with management hoarding profits while workers face dangers daily. Compensation is not commensurate with the hard work and difficult conditions workers endure. If Debs is elected, employees will have the liberty to form unions without fearing termination or being blacklisted while they fight for their rights.

Conclusion: Granting workers the ability to join unions will empower them to strike and negotiate effectively. As a result, they will be capable of demanding better wages or reduced hours from their employers, paving the way toward reducing economic disparity in America. Do you desire freedom? Don't you want the capacity to strive for the American dream? Wealth does not always come easily, and hard work alone will not suffice for everyone. Sometimes, taking initiative requires voting for Eugene Debs and endorsing the socialist party, compelling the large corporations that exploit you to account for their actions, allowing you to earn what you deserve.

Explanation:

I kind of went all out, sorry if it's too lengthy :)

Checklist:

"two points from your outline, a discussion of how socialist beliefs could help your audience, an introduction that creates interest, a conclusion that leaves a positive impact on the audience, at least three paragraphs"

Answer:

Eugene Debs ought to be elected because he stands up for the rights of American citizens. He recognizes that children cannot work and require education above all else. For those employed, adequate wages and reasonable working hours are necessary. Both men and women should receive equal treatment, just as individuals of all races should be treated equally within the workforce.

Whose idea was Dr. Rizal responding to? What exactly was the notion held about Filipinos during Rizal’s time?
LenKa [1871]

Answer:

Indolence

Explanation:

"La Indolencia de los Filipinos," or "The Indolence of the Filipinos" in English, is an exploratory essay penned by Dr. Jose Rizal, a renowned national hero of the Philippines. In this work, he discusses the perceived laziness of Filipinos during Spain's colonial rule. Though Dr. Rizal acknowledges the existence of indolence among his people, he attributes it to various factors such as the oppressive climate, the sweltering heat, and societal issues induced by Spanish governance.

After the coup d’etat and the resignation of the Directory, one of the first things Napoleon did was to declare himself Emperor
LenKa [1871]

After the coup d’état and the Directory’s resignation, one of Napoleon’s initial actions was to proclaim himself Emperor of France, set up a military dictatorship, execute many Royalists, and introduce a constitution for France.

The French Constitution was short-lived and drafted after the fall of the ancien régime, declaring France a constitutional monarchy. Napoleon created the Napoleonic Code, which became the foundation of modern French legal systems.

Further Explanation:

Napoleon Bonaparte was attracted to the ideals, dynamism, reformist zeal, and radicalism of the French Revolutionaries. The rise of the bourgeois class to political prominence occurred based on merit alone. The idea that aristocratic birth was required for political office collapsed. The glorification of war allowed Napoleon to begin his ascent by recapturing the French port of Toulon. That victory propelled him upward through the military ranks to Brigadier. In 1795 his career turned when he assisted the Directory general Paul Barras in suppressing a Royalist uprising using the French armed forces. By 1799 the Directory entrusted Napoleon with creating a strong, stable government to withstand revolts and coups that threatened the new Republican government. His victories against Austria and Italy (1796) strengthened his standing within the Directory. Unsure of France’s naval ability to invade England, he proposed seizing Egypt to disrupt British trade to India, but his forces were badly damaged at the Battle of the Nile, after which he abandoned his troops and returned to France.

In 1799 he toppled the Directory and formed a three-member consulate, with powers nominally equal among its members, making France resemble the ancient Roman state. He focused on centralizing government power, reforming banking and education, supporting scientific and artistic endeavors, and preserving Catholicism as the official religion. His most significant legacy was codifying French law, which underpins modern French legal codes. The 1802 constitutional change made Napoleon First Consul for life, and he later crowned himself Emperor, restoring a monarchical system in France.
