Sample Response: The interview conducted with Miep Gies was effective because it accomplished the goals of both Gies and the journalist. The reporter aimed to help convey Gies's narrative, while Gies sought to commemorate Anne Frank and inspire people to assist one another. I feel that the interview facilitated the fulfillment of both of these goals.
