Explanation:

Oxfords International School,

23 Umuatako Road,

Aba.

July 14, 2020.

The District Education Officer,

Secondary Education Management Board,

Aba.

Sir,

SUBJECT: APPEAL AGAINST UNJUST ADMISSION REFUSAL

I am writing to respectfully appeal regarding the unjust refusal of my admission into class X, despite my commendable results in the 2020 BECE conducted on March 4, 2020.

On the aforementioned date, I took the BECE exam at Oxfords International School Aba and met the credit level requirements in all subjects as set by the Abia State Ministry of Education. I was one of the four top-performing students in my school who earned the principal's merit award for outstanding achievement in the 2020 BECE.

Nevertheless, my name did not appear on the placement list for class X admissions across the Aba district. I promptly reached out to my school principal, Dr. Moses Ineh, who forwarded my concerns to the head of the school examinations at the Aba district Education Commission. Unfortunately, the response was discouraging; I was informed that I must repeat class IX since the student placements to high schools had already been concluded with a complete list of admitted candidates sent to the Abia State Ministry of Education.

I kindly request your intervention in this matter, urging the head of school exams to assign me to a high school within the Aba district so that I may continue my education alongside my peers. Forcing me to retake the examination next year would be unjust given my strong performance this year. I have enclosed a copy of my result notification with this letter.

I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to your favorable response.

Sincerely,

ЩЮЖ

Jude Chinonso Njoku

Naddika [2590]
In the 1856 edition of Leaves of Grass, this sonnet is one of twenty new ballads. Similar to "Intersection Brooklyn Ferry," which appeared during the same period, it emphasizes a communal and democratic space associated with the outdoors. Whitman presents the outdoors as an optimistic venue where all individuals can gather.
In this poem, he extols the outdoor spaces and pathways as areas where people can converge genuinely, reducing the significance of status and social indicators. Roads are used by everyone, whether affluent or less fortunate, encouraging interaction across societal divides. Moreover, the road symbolizes freedom: it's a route to new places, signifying a fresh start. For Whitman, the road itself becomes a source of inspiration for poetry. As he travels, he observes a diversity of individuals and narratives. He advocates against remaining stagnant too long, asserting that only through open road adventures can one truly engage with life.

Initially, the girls are hesitant to dance with him, but one girl eventually takes the chance and discovers she is having fun. Trying to impress others, she loosens the screws on the mechanical dancer, causing him to spin faster and faster until she ultimately faints. They search for the creator but can’t locate him in time, and tragically, the girl ends up dead. From that moment onward, the inventor decides to focus on crafting smaller items.
