The Cordova Rebellion was an uprising that took place near Nacogdoches, Texas in 1838. This revolt was led by Vicente Cordova, who had a role akin to that of a major in the town.

Cordova and several other local leaders supported the Texas Revolution as long as it advocated a reversion to the US Constitution of 1824. However, following the declaration of independence, they chose to resist the Texas Republic, which prompted this rebellion. Ultimately, Córdova was defeated by US General Edward Burleson.

Doss [1569]

The term 'regardest' indicates that the speaker's view of God is one of constant closeness.

Explanation:

In the poem, author Anne Bradstreet employs the term "regard" in a formal sense, meaning "to observe". She asserts that God has witnessed her suffering, struggles, and adversities, and in the following lines, she continues to recount how God witnessed her in distress and provided healing when she needed it most.

As a result, she conveys a sense that God has been constantly watching over her. This poem exemplifies the faith and loyalty the author holds towards God. Having such faith indeed fosters significant positive energy.

Use the demographic transition model to explain briefly Europe’s development as a source of international migrants between 1800
Juliette [1565]

Europe became a significant origin of migrants due to the declining economic circumstances for the middle class in the continent.

Explanation:

European nations were in the process of colonizing new territories throughout the century, and conditions for the middle class at home worsened, often prompting individuals to seek better prospects either in colonies or alternative nations.

As a result, mass migrations were particularly directed towards the New World.

This era also saw migrations to Australia, New Zealand, and other countries colonized by Europeans in pursuit of improved living conditions.
