Haley Williams sat in Dr. Karr’s office, once again, having to explain why she could not get along with her teacher. "I don’t kn

ow why she picks on me in front of the class. All I know is that when she starts to yell at me, I lose my temper. I’m not even sure what I am supposed to do! It seems like everything I do is wrong according to Miss Kemp. I know we have talked about getting along and how that would be better for everyone, but Dr. Karr, I just don’t like her and she does not like me. Can’t I be switched to another class?

The appropriate response to this open-ended question is as follows: The question appears to be missing both the complete question and the associated options. Nonetheless, additional investigation allows us to provide an answer. The likely inquiry should be "Miss Kempt's strategies that actually contribute to Haley's behavior include all of the following except:" if so, the response should then be "understanding that the interaction between Miss Kempt and Haley can impact the learning process." Alternatively, the question could be "Is Miss Kempt doing anything that actually contributes to Haley's poor behavior?" In this case, the answer would be that if the teacher is indeed yelling at Haley, it is certainly a mistake. Although, Dr. Karr must first hear the teacher's side of the story before reaching a conclusion. It is unclear if Haley's claims are accurate or if they are a personal interpretation of the events. Therefore, Dr. Karr should gather substantial evidence prior to acting.

Answer: The term is SAMPLE.

Explanation: Since he cannot analyze every 12th grader, he will choose a smaller SAMPLE of students for his research.

In research methodology, a sample refers to a subset selected from a larger population for measurement, observation, or questioning, offering statistical insights about that population. It serves as an unbiased estimator of the entire population.
