Nixon enforced the Brown v. Board of Education ruling from 1954, which deemed school segregation unconstitutional.
Nixon established a task force to abolish the remaining segregated schools in the South. By the conclusion of Nixon's presidency, only a handful of schools remained segregated. In this manner, Nixon backed the Court's decision and implemented their ruling regarding school segregation.
