Answer:

In my opinion, there are two approaches that can be implemented:

1. Pay attention to your thoughts.

2. Balance self-improvement with self-acceptance.

Explanation:

1. Pay attention to your thoughts.

You tend to hear your inner dialogue so frequently that it becomes easy to overlook the messages you communicate to yourself. Start to monitor your thoughts closely; you may realize that you criticize yourself or discourage yourself from taking on challenging tasks.

It is estimated that an individual has around 60,000 thoughts each day. That results in 60,000 chances to either uplift or undermine your self-esteem. Recognizing your thought patterns is crucial to understanding how your mindset shapes your life.

2. Balance self-improvement with self-acceptance.

There’s a notable distinction between telling yourself you’re inadequate and acknowledging that there’s room for improvement. Embrace your imperfections as they are now while committing to future growth. Although it might seem a bit contradictory, it’s possible to do both simultaneously: you can recognize that you're anxious about an upcoming work presentation while choosing to enhance your public speaking abilities. Appreciate who you are today while working towards becoming an even better version of yourself later.
