Matter can transition from one state to another when thermal energy is either absorbed or released... When heated, it absorbs thermal energy causing its temperature to rise. Eventually, the temperature stabilizes and ice starts to convert into liquid water. This conversion, from solid to liquid, is called melting. Molecules in a solid are relatively stationary and contain minimal energy... Liquid molecules hold more energy compared to solid molecules. If further heated, the energy makes the gas molecules move so rapidly that they no longer remain connected. Gas particles possess the highest energy, while solid particles have the least. The temperature indicates the average kinetic energy of particles. A phase change may take place when there is a shift in the energy of particles. There are gaps between particles of matter.

Hope this helps....... Stay safe and have a Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!:D

Hello!

\large\boxed{\text{The first choice.}}

Kinetic Energy (1/2 · mass · velocity²) arises when an object is moving, or when a force acts on it. For example, a moving car demonstrates this principle.

Potential energy (mass · height · gravity) exists when an object has the capacity to perform work. An example would be an item resting on a shelf. It possesses the potential to fall, converting its potential energy into kinetic energy.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

By examining the examples from the table, we categorize them as follows:

Girl swimming laps- Kinetic energy as the girl is in motion.

Boy standing on diving board - Potential energy since the boy is still but has the potential to move.

Girl striking volleyball - Kinetic energy as the volleyball is actively moving.

Boy grasping volleyball- Potential energy since the volleyball is at rest and can potentially be set in motion.

Thus, the accurate classification is table 1.

A DNA sequence reads: AGGCCATATATG. Which of the following is the correct complementary DNA strand?
Rainbow [2354]

Response: If you are referring to 'What is the accurate complementary RNA strand?' then the correct choice is D.

Justification: This is due to the pairing rules in RNA: A pairs with U and G pairs with C, while T pairs with A
